A couple weeks back we told you about InstallFree Bridge, an IT-friendly tool that accelerates and simplifies Windows XP-to-7 migrations by virtualizing the user's applications.
Okay, but how does that actually work? What does it look like? Glad you asked: The developers have released a 6-minute video that shows you how an end user gets migrated from XP to Windows 7. It's pretty interesting stuff, and an eye-opener for anyone who hasn't seen virtualized apps in action. Take a look (FYI, it's best viewed full-screen):
Needless to say, the more we learn about InstallFree, the more appealing it sounds. As noted in our original post, there's a free trial available--definitely worth a look if you're still developing your migration plan.
