When you log into a user's computer to troubleshoot problems, install new software, and the like, the last thing you want to do is leave traces of your work. Doing so could confuse the user and even lead to potential problems (like if the user follows an admins-only link left behind in his browser's history).
CleanAfterMe removes the files, Registry entries, and browser activity that can get left behind during the course of admin activity. It's free, and it's portable, so you can run it remotely or from your flash drive.
The tool inspects and cleans nearly 30 areas, including browser history (but for Internet Explorer only), the Windows Explorer Recent folder, the Recycle Bin, Event Log entries, and so on.
You can erase these items individually or wipe them all in one fell swoop. Thankfully, CleanAfterMe generates a cleaning report ahead of time so you can see exactly what's getting removed before clicking Clean Selected Items.

My take: this is an ideal addition to any IT admin's flash-drive toolkit. And you can't beat the price.
